1980-1986 Student at the Painting Department of the Latvian Academy of Art. Graduated from the Professor Imants Vecozols' Studio;
1973-1980 Attends Jānis Rozentāls Riga Secondary Art School;

1993-2000 Member of the International Art Association “B 13” (founded at the Latvian Academy of Art, 1993-2000), regularly participates at the exhibitions organized by this association;
