Zane Iltnere

Zane Iltnere is a painter. Graduated from the Latvian Academy of Art (1980 – 1991), she had been studying at the workshops of the painters Eduards Kalnins and Boriss Berzins.

Zane Iltnere participates in group exhibitions since the year 1983 from which the most important are – Baltic Young Artists’ Triennial (1988), „Portraits and Self-Portraits” (1989), „Autumn” (1987 -2007), „Spring” (1991 – 1997), the 1st General Latvian Art Exhibition (1990), „The Drunken Ship” (1994), „The Ship Again Drunken” (1995), "Shunt" (2010), "Painting in Latvia 1950-1990 from Collection of  the Artists’ Union of Latvia"(2010), "European Cities in the Paintings of Latvian Artists" (2010-2011).
The paintings of Zane Iltnere have been included in the collections of the Latvian National Museum of Art (Riga), the Artists’ Union of Latvia (Riga), Swedbank Contemporary Art Collection (Riga).
