Otto Zitmanis series of paintings on paper, which is created in a period of 2010 to 2011, associates with freer and more openminded form of artistic expression, in a way of spontaneity and expression the freedom of colour and shape more resembles to CoBrA painting.

 This comparison does not mean that Otto Zitmanis would be turned to this painting example of 50's, which recently was showed in Riga. This is expressed as a complement to an artist painting in the direction of artistic relaxation, declining from the narration.
