Kristina Keire ( 1968 )
The language of Kristina Keire's painting is exquisite, fragile, slightly transparent, tonally very sensitive and laconic in terms of forms.
In her works she is as it were engaged in aesthetic dissection of various plants, magnifying several times, separating and studying their fragments.
By making the petals or stems, seen in the world of imagination, abstract and stylised Kristina Keire likens them to unusual, surreal insects.
However, the true reason behind this research is the tender relationship between the colouring and the sensitive drawing, which Kristina Keire engages in, by using the canvas as her laboratory.
